Pets are now invincible in Mild difficulty, and the lighting at night has been adjusted for easier gameplay. Various quality-of-life changes have been implemented like a "respawn at nearest field station" option on death, thrown items made easier to find, and spicy weapons automatically cook meat from slain creatures.ĭifficulty adjustments have been made, with death only dropping natural resources while crafted items are never dropped on death. To assist with the hunt, an upgraded Large Spikes trap has been added that deals double the damage of the normal spike trap. Dozens of stuffed bugs and wall-mounted bug trophies have also been added so players can complete their collection of hunting memorabilia. Builders' lives will be made easier thanks to doubled "nearby storage" range while building, and buildings can now automatically pull necessary ingredients from nearby chests and grass pallets.Īlso arriving with the update is a collection of new buildings in Grounded, such as mushroom stairs and a grass side table that acts as storage. This update will help with traversal through Grounded's environments thanks to zip line ascension, while more inventory space and greatly improved base-building features should smooth out the survival experience. Grounded has just released its 1.1 update on the public test server so that players can work out the bugs before the patch goes live before the end of the year.
